Position: Director of Client SuccessHow You Will Make an Impact:

The Director of Client Success is responsible for ensuring exceptional client satisfaction, ensuring operational excellence and driving consistent, high-quality delivery and success across client engagements. This role serves as a strategic advisor to clients, aligning business objectives with delivery outcomes while identifying opportunities to expand and enhance service offerings. The Director will collaborate across client-delivery teams and act as liaison with headquarters functions, with a focus on maintaining compliance, implementing robust project controls, managing subcontractor performance, ensuring quality assurance and measurable impact throughout the delivery lifecycle.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Lead the documentation and implementation of best practices, tools, and processes to standardize and streamline client delivery.
  • Implement and monitor quality assurance processes to ensure that all client deliverables meet or exceed expectations, adhering to established standards and benchmarks.
  • Ensure compliance with all contractual, regulatory, and company policies, maintaining a strong focus on adherence to standards and ethical practices across client engagements.
  • Oversee project controls to ensure accurate tracking of scope, schedule, budget, and deliverables, providing timely updates to leadership and clients as needed.
  • Manage subcontractor relationships, ensuring alignment with project objectives, clear communication, and accountability for performance and deliverables.
  • Oversee the onboarding and offboarding of team members, ensuring smooth transitions and compliance with company and client requirements.
  • Facilitate the assimilation of new team members into existing project teams or the re-assignment of staff as needed, ensuring alignment with team dynamics and project goals.
  • Oversee resource management efforts, including allocation, forecasting, and optimization of team capacity to meet client and project needs effectively.
  • Develop and implement talent development strategies, focusing on upskilling, career growth, and retention to build a high-performing and engaged workforce.
  • Support quality management, process improvement, and compliance initiatives such as CMMI and ISO certifications.

Relevant Skills & Experience:

  • 10+ years of experience in client delivery, with a focus on federal government or Department of Defense clients.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proven ability to develop and maintain structured processes and workflows to manage complex, multi-faceted projects and initiatives.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, ensuring tasks are completed accurately, on time, and in alignment with established priorities and objectives.
  • Demonstrated skill in tracking, organizing, and prioritizing competing deadlines across multiple projects or workstreams.
  • Proficiency in using project management tools and systems to streamline organization and maintain clear visibility into project statuses.
  • Ability to anticipate potential challenges, proactively address gaps, and ensure seamless execution of operational and strategic goals.
  • Familiarity with government contracting, CPARS processes, and acquisition strategies.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree required (preferred in Business, Finance, or related field); advanced degree (MBA, MPA, etc.) preferred.
