JOB SUMMARY
Responsible for generating and improving leads for new client acquisition for the commercial services segment. The Director, Business to Business Marketing will be responsible for strategizing, executing and optimizing programs and campaigns that improve market share growth substantially. Combining market opportunity research, market sizing data, buyer propensity models and client/sales/product trend data to design and execute programs and campaigns that attain market share goals.
Designing and activating targeted and effective programs and campaigns using direct response tactics, digital ads, traditional media and content marketing. Partner with research, creative, media, marketing operations, Sales Enablement and other teams to leverage brand and segment messages, content, product positioning and relevant subject matter expertise. Work with cross functional teams to deploy programs and campaigns that optimize tactic mix to maximum lead production and drive cost per lead (CPL) performance.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Actively and consistently support all efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience.
  • Execute all aspects of marketing strategy and planning including but not limited to plan development, campaign design, scorecard methodology and tracking, cross-functional leadership and decision making to drive program success.
  • Execute program and campaign strategies based on proven marketing best practices and modern marketing strategies targeted at IT and telecom services decision-makers, and others in the Mid-Market to Large Business space.
  • Drive awareness and leads to the sales teams to directly contribute to overall sales productivity, achievement of product goals and attainment of revenue goals. Improve campaign and marketing initiatives performances through the selection, management and direction of third-party vendors.
  • Generate leads nationally by working with sales organizations during promotional offers to deliver marketing collateral and lead a strong marketing communications function. Promote and enhance the marketing brand and brand integrity by directing and managing all customer-facing communications.
  • Evaluate the financial success of programs and campaigns through a review of sales and marketing KPIs, including but not limited to MQLs, SQLs, budgets, expenditures, and return-on-investment (ROI). Support senior leadership by assisting with the planning and budgeting of marketing activities on a national basis.
  • Work directly with sales leaders to develop both transactional lead gen strategies and complex door opening and account penetration strategies.


REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Required Skills/Abilities and Knowledge

  • Expertise and deep experience in Digital Marketing, Media, Direct Response tactics and measurement
  • Proven track-record in modern marketing strategies and platforms enabled by marketing automation, customer relationship management systems, segmentation and personalization strategies, and digital targeting marketing platforms as well as in-depth knowledge of the latest techniques in complex account marketing strategies
  • Proven track record of creating and implementing innovative digital customer acquisition programs that align with the buyer's journey and focus on generating new business leads in support of achieving/exceeding sales growth and revenue goals
  • Be an active listener that can think on his/her feet
  • Believe in an environment of collaboration and teamwork
  • Independent, proactive execution on projects and campaigns, with the ability to prioritize and work under pressure
  • Proven verbal, written and interpersonal communications skills
  • Proven analytical and project management skills
  • Demonstrated presentation skills and ability to distill complex data into simple and meaningful communications


Required Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business or related discipline and/or equivalent work experience


Required Related Work Experience and Number of Years

  • Progressive responsibility in marketing, demand or lead generation
  • strategy, execution and communications - 8+ years
  • Leadership experience partnering with sales leadership to execute GTM 5+ years
  • Leadership experience in business-to-business (B2B) marketing 5+ years
  • Management experience 5+ years
  • Experience creating and executing digital inbound, nurture and direct mail campaigns


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Preferred Skills/Abilities and Knowledge

  • Knowledge of data networking, internet, voice, TV solutions and services

  • Master's degree
