Job Description:
Digital Transformation Engineer (Project Role)- Aurora, NE
This role is a project-based transformation role and has a current expected end date of ‘31st December 2026’.
The individual in this role will be responsible for a hands-on approach to designing the Digital Roadmap for the site with direction from the Site Leadership Team and Regional Digital Supply Excellence Team, managing implementation scope, schedule, dependencies, issues, risk, and stakeholders' communication for the site’s digital strategy. The individual will need to leverage all the different plant’s digital technology applications to maximize the data through a digital dashboard that will drive productivity and CI.
What are we looking for?
Education:
· Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science or Digital Technology related field. Equivalent experience will be considered.
Experience/Skills:
· 2+ years manufacturing experience preferred
· Track record of using data and metrics to design strategies, identify and implement improvements
· Understanding of process and packaging applications
· Understanding of the FMOS process
· Understanding of digital technologies
· Able to work collaboratively with other groups
What will be your key responsibilities?
ROLE
· Implement Digital projects across the site
· Provide innovative digital solutions that accelerates improvement in Performance Management, TRS(OEE), Production Costs, Safety, Quality, and Customer Service Levels.
· Organize & Manage the Digital Factory Program
· Design End-To-End Architecture
· Create Site Engagement
· Perform Site Assessments
· Change Management (Training & Reinforcement)
· Support of deployed applications to further realize value
DIGITAL KNOWLEDGE
Advance Digital Maturity across the site by:
· Developing a User-Centric digital culture. (Ensuring digital projects & tools are fit for purpose and work for the end user)
· Understanding of Digital Twin Technologies and how they can be used to improve manufacturing and business performance
· Owns the vision and long-term strategy of a range of digital products ensuring they meet the regional & global manufacturing digitalization strategy
BUSINESS
· Ensure delivery of assigned objectives for scope, time, budget, cash flow, and value creation
· Maintain the project adherence to scope, deliverables, and critical success factors
· Seek and apply appropriate technology to gain and sustain technical competitive advantage
· Is the connector between the business teams and the DT Teams
FUNCTIONAL
· Continuously improve personal efficiency and performance to provide value added engineering
· Partner with the site leadership to supervise all commissioning, validation, and start-up activities for digital projects. Additionally, work according to Global CVS best practices, change management processes, and manage the handover process for the project.
· Provide advanced problem-solving analysis and resolution, data tracking to identify continuous improvement opportunities, and coordinate training.
· Identify, protect and expand intellectual property of the corporation
· Govern & maintain process documentation of their products
LEADERSHIP
· Effectively and efficiently communicate, facilitate, coordinate, and prioritize all activities for digital projects
