About role:

The role of a Digital Sales Associate (DSA) is primarily Opportunity/Lead generation focused, seeking out new business opportunities to identify, progress and close within their aligned territories. With a clearly defined and aligned approach, the DSA is responsible for delivering growth in profit, market share and partner value.

The ideal candidate will be energetic, highly motivated and driven to succeed. It is a high paced, very visible role which will bring a high degree of social and digital selling techniques into play.

The associates must be confident in engaging peers, making connections across the stakeholder landscapes and have experience with a consultative selling approach, as well as programmatic selling techniques. They will be comfortable with discussing business issues and goals with Business Partners, Prospects and aligned Vendor Executives and conversant with Cross Sell / Up Sell Ingram Micro Solutions.

Responsibilities, Supporting Actions:

  • Digital, Social & Phone based client engagement aligned to specific market segments and/or offerings. 
  • In and Outbound responses generated by marketing / Business Unit 
  • Leverage marketing programs to support sales achievement and territory penetration and growth 
  • Run proactive sales plays and prospecting initiatives for new and existing customers through Programmatic and Digital sales call out plans 
  • Deal progression activities from create to close for completive or focused Palo Alto Network offerings. 
  • Own and manage quote follow up activities across the business 
  • Own, develop and manage Customer and vendor stakeholder relationships within your territory 
  • Building and maintaining optimal engagement and close plans to maximise Vendor rebates 
  • Having a ‘thinking out of the box‘ attitude to developing value add sales engagements to exploit cross and upsell opportunities. 
  • Participate in coaching sessions and develop win themes for the pursuit with partners
  • Participate in Business Unit Planning and Vendor Activities
  • Coordinates partner deliverables such as a request for information (RFI), request for proposal response (RFP), statements of work (SOWs), and oral presentations

Essential Skills, Experience & Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of Lead Generation/Business Development experience with a track record in achieving personal business targets
  • Ideally some knowledge and experience of Palo Alto Network Solutions
  • High motivation and competitiveness; Ambitious for a successful sales career.
  • Excellent Social Media presence and can demonstrate how you use social media tools
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work independently and within a team.
  • Proven, successful experience with Digital, Social and telephone based solution selling
  • A can-do attitude along with a big picture mindset
  • Digitally savvy representative that can bring new digital and social Sales Routes to Market (RTM’s)
