Summary:

As a Digital Sales Executive/Business Development you will be expected to sell digital advertising and digital marketing services for the PA Cluster -Media News Group.  The position will work independently to increase digital revenue base by developing new business.

What you will do:

  • Develop and execute prospecting strategies to uncover new business opportunities

  • Develop and maintain a personal book of digital business, complete with monthly and quarterly revenue goals

  • Works independently to retain and upsell newly developed business through consistent campaign performance management

  • Stays abreast of emerging trends in digital products, technology, measurement and analytics

  • Weekly Reporting on account activity, pipeline and revenue around Key Categories

  • Identify the current needs of client base; communicate the benefits of our audience based marketing solutions as they relate to each need and then sell the appropriate campaign

  • Work through objections/concerns regarding costs, budgets and selling strategies

  • Research problems and provide solutions; requires an understanding of the Company’s digital products and as it relates to customers, prospects, and key trends

What you will bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, systems, communications or a related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience

  • Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team

  • Position requires high level of professional communication ability

  • Have an understanding of how to grow and maintain market share; ability to accurately develop forecasts and manage pipelines

  • Demonstrated record of success in a goal-oriented, highly accountable environment; in building customer-based revenue and in delivering customer solutions based on identified needs

  • Ability to effectively manage time as it relates to focus on sales related activities

  • Solid experience with SEO, SEM advertising sales and account management

  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required

Travel:

  • Travel expected within given territory to meet with clients

Employees engage in a combination of remote and on-site work.

The majority of our roles are 100% remote excluding Production & Circulation although some roles require customer visits or occasional in office work. We do not have any intention of returning to an in office environment/culture.
