Who We Need:
We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic DevOps Engineer to join our DevOps team. In this role, you will work alongside experienced DevOps engineers to support the development, deployment, and maintenance of our software applications and infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
1. Support Infrastructure and Deployment:

  • Assist in the deployment and configuration of applications and services on cloud platforms or on-premises environments.
  • Help maintain and monitor cloud infrastructure in Azure


2. Collaborate on Development and Operations:

  • Work with development teams to understand application requirements and provide infrastructure solutions.
  • Collaborate with other team members to improve deployment processes and automate repetitive tasks.


3. Learn and Implement CI/CD Pipelines:

  • Support the creation and maintenance of Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
  • Assist in the configuration of tools such Azure DevOps for automated testing and deployment.


4. Manage and Monitor Systems:

  • Help with system monitoring and performance tuning.
  • Assist in troubleshooting issues related to application performance and availability.


5. Documentation and Reporting:

  • Document infrastructure configurations, processes, and procedures. • Provide regular status updates and reports to the DevOps team.


6. Continuous Learning:

  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and new technologies. • Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance your DevOps skills.


Qualifications

  • Basic Understanding of DevOps concepts, software development lifecycle, and Infrastructure as Code.
  • Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).


Skills and Competencies:
Technical Skills:

  • Basic knowledge of cloud services (Azure, AWS, GCP) and virtualization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes is a plus).
  • Understanding of scripting languages (Powershell, Python, or similar). • Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, Bicep, or similar) is a plus.
  • Basic knowledge of networking concepts and protocols.


Soft Skills:

  • Strong problem-solving abilities and analytical thinking.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies.


Preferred Certifications:

  • Certifications: Entry & Intermediate level certifications such as Azure Fundamentals, Azure Administrator Associate, Azure Developer Associate or similar are a plus.
