Job Description
- Your main focus is on software development and you have very good knowledge of a programming language, preferably Python
- The automatic provision of your own and third-party developments via CI/CD is part of your area of responsibility
- The creation and implementation of architectural concepts in the (Microsoft Azure) cloud is one of the core tasks
- The colleagues from the operations team support you with the power and gas specific requirements so that you can implement them in Microsoft Azure
- You ensure that the technical group architecture specifications as well as the applicable IT governance and IT security specifications are implemented and adhered to
Qualifications
- University degree in computer science or IT-oriented vocational training with relevant professional experience
- Architecture (technical), operational management of applications, CI/CD pipeline, containerization (Docker), IT infrastructures, Azure DevOps, Azure Cloud scripting/programming, JavaScript, IT security and IT data protection
- Familiarity with the following technologies: Python, MS Azure and Lakehouse architecture, Databricks (Spark)
- Certified in the Azure domain (e.g. Azure Developer, DevOps Engineer, Azure Solutions Architect)
- Fluent in English and German
- Well structured, analytically thinking and demonstrating the ability to explain processes in a clear and understandable manner to a non-technical audience
- System management expertise with monitoring, disaster recovery, backup, automated testing, automated schema migration, and continuous deployment
- Ability to take ownership and proven strive for excellence
