As a Developer Productivity Analyst on the Engineering Productivity Team (EPT), you will be gathering and creating the requirements to build an internal developer platform that is intuitive, reliable, automated, secure, adaptable, and fast that will boost development teams efficiency. What you'll do
- Understand current challenges of development teams, see areas of improvement and translate them into requirements.
- Engaging all customers (Engineers, SDLC, Architecture, Compliance, and Security) directly through a variety of channels to serve as the voice of the customer internally - identifying new capabilities, defining product features, and working closely with platform engineering and development teams to get those features incorporated.
- Support the prioritization of the long-term (12-18 months) product roadmap to deliver the Vonage Internal Developer Platform across +30 engineering teams.
- Work closely with tech leadership to understand the tradeoffs of technical decisions and how they impact the developer experience the platform will deliver.
- Define critical metrics for the product and responsible for measuring and tracking those measures, with an eye to adjusting and refining your roadmap as the data dictates.
What you'll bring
- 5+ years of experience in technical product management, technical product design or software engineering
- 5+ years of Cloud technology or related experience in a fast-moving enterprise-facing business
- Technical knowledge and depth necessary to propose and influence new product and feature ideas in the cloud platforms and developer experience space
- Experience with public cloud specializing in CI/CD and DevOps expertise
- Experience with Kubernetes for container orchestration and management
- Experience writing technical product requirements and documentation
- Demonstrated ability to operate both strategically and tactically in a high-energy, fast-paced Cloud environment and able to influence multiple cross-departmental stakeholders.
- Analytical and quantitative skills, experience using hard data and metrics to back up assumptions and develop business cases
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with demonstrated experience engaging and influencing senior executives
- Strong work ethic as team player and a willingness to roll up one’s sleeves to get the job done
