How will you contribute to the team?

  • Scoping:
    • Facilitate project tracker approval.
    • Identify project stakeholders and drive Scoping completion.
    • Participate in scoping walks and meeting alignment.
    • Select project design strategy and review/approve ICR.
  • Positioning/Programming/Detailed Design:
    • Primary point of contact for PE/AE/Supplier design escalations.
    • Review and approve DCNs including project schedule.
    • If positioning/programming is required, attend all review meetings and provide input on scope alignment for detailed design. Scope will need to be fully defined and aligned prior to start of detailed design. Any changes impacting scope during detailed design will require DRTF approval.
    • Attend all design review meeting and provide input, comments to the advance transfer design package.
    • Provide IFC package signoff in a timely manner (within 48 hours – causes for delays will be measured).
    • Maintain approved Budgeted Scope using Trend Log.
    • Ensure compliance with established design processes and procedures.
  • Construction:
    • Primary point of contact for PE/AE/Supplier design escalations or after action review (AAR) items.
    • Assist with reviewing Owner RFI’s and Submittals.  AE responsible for non-Owner RFI’s and Submittals.
    • Review and evaluate AE 2B (design errors and omissions) change orders.
    • If required, attend all DRB review meeting and provide input.
    • Additional Expectations:
    • Ensure coverage for OOP’s (design/construction progress cannot stop).
    • Reduce variation & changes – standardize solutions.
    • Assist PE/PMs with DRTF presentations and present as-needed.

What will you contribute?

  • You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.
  • Candidate Must Have at least One of the Following:
    • Bachelor's degree in  Engineering or closely related field with 4+ years of experience on design and construction of large scale projects.
    • Master's degree in  Engineering or closely related field with 3+ years of experience on design and construction of large scale projects.
  • Preferred Qualifications:
    • Focus on industrial, semiconductor, and cleanroom projects.
    • 3+years of experience leading a team.
    • Proficiency with reading and interpreting construction contract documents.
    • Familiarity with design standards, design scheduling, and related aspects of design management.
    • 3+ years of experience managing project change control.
    • 3+ years of experience with construction, start-up, and commissioning/turnover of facilities systems.
    • 3+ years of experience with building and fire codes and hazardous occupancies is preferred.
    • Professional Engineer, PMP, or other related certification.
