Introduction to the job
You will be the Wilton DE representative in TW working & WLT TME team for supporting WW NXE EUV Top Module Escalation project as EUV Top Module expert. This role is to act as frontline DE in field, covering the local time zone escalation in time and feedback Wilton TME DE the issue progress and improvement. Home base will be in ASML Hsinchu office, TW.
The mission of WLT NXE EUV TME DE is to enable our field service engineers’ solving power on NXE EUV Top Module to be capable in supporting our customers. As an NXE EUV reticle Stage expert, you will function as the technical interface between Global Support Center and WLT DE teams to solve issue in time and feedback structural improvement. As an Mechatronics Design Engineer, you need to fully understand the EUV reticle stage design and functionality, develop DE level diagnostics skill, and further proposed effective containment and solution.
Role and responsibilities

Able to clarify the issue for accurate problem description, root cause deep-dive and drive for solution from technical perspective and have helicopter view of LNA EUV top module issues.

Knowledge/experience of robotics and stage controls is desirable.

Able to provide quick containment with data driven analysis for NXE EUV top module issues in field.

Manage the lifecycle(E2E) of an action plan that needs to be executed at the customer site.

Communicate the issue status updates on a daily basis with WLT DE TME team

Manage customer’s expectation and able to bring the customer needs to the D&E project to close gap.

Interact with EUV DE colleagues in Wilton for driving the containment and solution.
Education and experience
Master or PHD Degree in Mechatronic Engineering preferred (motion/servo control background).
At least 3-5 years Industry experience within motion/stage/robot control domain. Candidate should have direct experience in the design and test of mechatronic systems/equipment.
Skills

Familiar with MATLAB/SIMULINK toolbox.

Ability to apply “classical control theory” and “digital control theory” including frequency domain, stability (Nyquist/Bode plots), Velocity-Acceleration-Jerk (VAJ), feedback/feedforward, dynamics, gain and phase, transfer functions, continuous/discrete feedback control, real time controls, etc.

Ability to complete assignments with attention to detail and high degree of accuracy.

Result driven-demonstrate ownership, identifies bottlenecks and drives improvements.

Work independently or as part of a team and follow through on assignments with minimal supervision.

Demonstrate open, clear, concise and professional communication.

Strong data analytical skills.

Strong technical writing and communication skills in English, including presenting results based on strong statistical evidence to audiences of a wide range of technical abilities.
Other information
Travel to WLT and TW per request(10%), daily night call with WLT for issue pass down and collaboration is needed.
This position requires access to controlled technology, as defined in the United States Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R. § 730, et seq.). Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to access such controlled technology prior to beginning work. Business demands may require ASML to proceed with candidates who are immediately eligible to access controlled technology.
