The Data Product Manager will be focused on developing high value data products powered by AI and machine learning. Reporting to the Sr Director, Data Products, you will play a pivotal role in driving the development and successful implementation of a new concept focused on leveraging large volumes of data to better inform our customers’ maintenance operations. Your experience in Product Management along with ability to build new and novel analytics with AI will be critical in shaping our strategic roadmap and ensuring the delivery of high-quality products that meet the needs of our customers and their patients.
What You’ll Do
Cross functional leader of product development efforts
- Lead the end-to-end product development process, including gathering and prioritizing product requirements, defining product vision, and working closely with data science, engineering, design, and other teams to deliver high-quality, user-centric healthcare products.
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive product roadmap aligned with the company's strategic goals. Continuously prioritize features, enhancements, and updates based on customer feedback, market trends, and business objectives.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop go-to-market strategies, positioning, and messaging for new products. Support marketing efforts by providing product knowledge, conducting product training, and participating in customer presentations and demonstrations.
Build new data & analytics capabilities
- Establish new data assets by partnering with our customers to identify and collect external datasets that further power our mission.
- Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and monitor the performance of AI products in the market, using data-driven insights to make informed decisions and adjustments.
- Iterate on AI/ML products based on user feedback, market trends, and new technological advancements to ensure continuous improvement and stay competitive in the market.
- Lead and collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, marketing, sales, and operations, to ensure effective and timely product delivery.
Understand key marketplace trends
- Serve as the go-to expert at PartsSource on all things AI including market trends, emerging technologies and cutting edge use cases.
- Monitor the competitive landscape and industry trends to identify potential threats and opportunities. Conduct regular analysis and benchmarking of competitor products to ensure our offerings remain competitive and meet or exceed market standards.
- Engage with key stakeholders, including hospital administrators, healthcare professionals, vendors, and to gather insights, understand their needs, and incorporate feedback into product development. Build and nurture strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to drive successful product launches and ongoing product adoption.
What You’ll Bring
- Excellent strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex concepts into actionable plans.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Highly analytical mindset and proficiency in leveraging a variety of AI/ML tools to develop new analytics and data products. Hands-on experience building with Python and SQL is a must. Experience with AI/ML tools offered by AWS, Snowflake and Power BI are preferred.
- Leadership experience, with the ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, delivering high-quality results within established timelines.
Your Background
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field required; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- 5-7 years in product management with a heavy focus on AI and advanced analytics.
- Experience with generative AI technologies and use cases that are most suited for these capabilities.
- Strong knowledge with agile product development methodologies, including user research, prototyping, and iterative product releases.
- Experience within the healthcare ecosystem, including hospital operations, electronic health records (EHR), medical devices, and healthcare regulations preferred.
This position can work out of our Hoffman Estates, IL, Charlotte, NC, or Hudson OH offices
