JOB DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a Senior Data Analyst to support product managers and tech leads on securities-based lending system development. The goal is to ensure that the product development work and client projects are implemented successfully in all aspects and delivered timely with high quality. The Senior Data Analyst will conduct business analyst or research for data related and analysis project assignments. The Senior Data Analyst have opportunities to gain hands on experience in financial data analysis, and how it works in fintech products.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Utilize Analytical Tools: Actively engage with in-house developed data analytical tools, reports, and data validation modules to ensure the accuracy and integrity of data. Provide actionable feedback to enhance product functionality and user experience.
  • Conduct Data Analysis: Perform comprehensive data analysis to support data product development. Work with product manager to define back testing and validation plans for new analytical models and perform testing and analysis. Make informed decisions based on data-driven insights to drive product solutions.
  • Data Quality Assurance: Provide support for quality assurance by testing products in various environments, identifying and troubleshooting system bugs, and ensuring high standards of product functionality. Carry out data analysis, comparison, and validation for product deployment projects for new clients to ensure high quality contents and functionalities
  • Subject Matter Expertise: Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for both internal and external communications for data products, offering expertise and guidance on data-related issues.
  • Data Operation: Participate process improvement projects in data flow and operations
  • Research: Perform financial security data research and analysis, develop models such as multivariate regression analysis, simulations, or portfolio risk analytics. Utilize advanced analytical techniques, statistical methods, and AI-driven tools to analyze and interpret complex datasets.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Master’s degree in data science, computer science, finance or related major is required
  • 2-4 years of professional experience is required.
  • Highly analytical and quantitative thinking
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite and SQL. Python experience is preferred
  • Knowledge in finance and accounting is preferred
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Exceptional time management and follow-up skills
