The opportunity
In this role you will be the be the conduit with Group Data learning and development activities, translating and adoption as relevant to AUSPAC ways of working, partnering with the AUSPAC’s People Function to implement relevant initiatives that build data-driven mindsets and behaviours across all levels of the organisation.
Your new role:
The Data Maturity lead will play a pivotal role in elevating the AUSPAC’s overall data capabilities, fostering a culture of data-driven decision-making, and promoting best practices in data management. This role will focus on driving data maturity, implementing initiatives which build required data mindsets and behaviours to care for and use our data effectively, while working closely with Group counterparts to adopt/ align data training initiatives. You will work closely with the team to develop and implement a comprehensive data maturity roadmap aligned with AUSPAC’s strategic goals, and Group Data initiatives.
Other responsibilities include:
- Deeply understand AUSPAC’s ways of working, data governance processes, and beliefs systems to effectively tailor and implement relevant Group Data learning
- Develop organisation-wide engagement initiatives to adopt new or changes to existing data policies and standards.
- Lead engagement with the Data Steward network ensuring that they have the right tools and skills to execute their roles confidently and effectively
About you:
You will have good understanding of data governance principles and change management frameworks. Experience in collaborating with technical and data science stakeholders, particularly in leading organisational change initiatives that promote data adoption, is highly beneficial. Additionally, a proven track record in designing and implementing effective training programs to foster mindset and behaviour change is valuable for driving successful transformation efforts.
You will have:
- Strong interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders within AUSPAC and across the Enterprise (Group/Divisional) and display confidence with presenting and engaging with both business and technical stakeholders
- Ability to collaborate effectively with individuals from diverse technical backgrounds.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to engage and influence stakeholders across all levels of the organisation.
