As a Data Engineer, you will play a critical role in supporting machine learning research by building robust data pipelines and managing databases that power cutting-edge R&D projects.
Responsibilities:
As a Data Engineer, you will:

Develop and Automate Data Pipelines: Build and maintain data pre- and post-processing pipelines to support machine learning research.

Handle Diverse Data Sources: Work with images, PDF documents, raw text, CSV files, and more, extracting, merging, and formatting targeted information.

Database Management: Manage and optimize internal SQL and NoSQL databases, ensuring seamless integration with internal web applications.

Web Development: Contribute to front-end and back-end development, supporting the deployment of user-friendly tools and applications.

Programming Proficiency: Utilize expertise in Python, Java, C, C++, or other programming languages to deliver reliable and efficient solutions.
Qualifications:
Required Skills:

Proficiency in Python libraries for data science and data visualization.

Strong knowledge of SQL databases (e.g., MS Azure, Oracle) and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB).

Experience in web application and platform development (e.g., Streamlit) and managing web servers (e.g., Nginx).

Familiarity with handling and processing diverse data types, including structured and unstructured data.
Preferred Skills:

Background in the chemical industry or similar technical fields.

Bilingual proficiency in English and Korean, with strong communication skills.
