Your role at Exness:
We are currently looking for Senior Data Engineers who will working with our Customer Relationships & Service, Trading and Information Technology teams, focused on providing data driven solutions. The successful candidate will be working on exciting projects with cutting-edge technologies.
You will:
- Assemble large, complex datasets that meet functional and non-functional business requirements (business cases).
- Prepare datasets from various sources by request.
- Take care of data warehousing as a process.
- Implement and support data model changes.
- Develop new integrations and data marts.
- Recommend ways to improve data reliability, efficiency, and quality.
- Describe entities and lineage in our data catalog.
What makes you a great fit:
- Strong experience with relational databases like Vertica, PostgreSQL, ClickHouse, BigQuery, and similar. MPP databases experience is a plus;
- Technical knowledge of RDBMS database design in data warehousing context and query optimization;
- Сonsiderable expertise in data architecture, data modeling, data storage, data security, data quality;
- Experience building ETLs/ELTs to take from various data sources and process data;
- Python skills associated with ETL, ETL-tools (e.g. DBT);
- Expert structured query language (SQL) knowledge;
- Understanding of base principles CI/CD in the data processing area.
Experience with Data Catalog frameworks using; - Good communication and problem-solving skills;
- Spoken and written at least Intermediate English;
- Detail-oriented and critical thinking;
- Decision-making and adapting to new changes;
- Write concise and clear documentation;
- Deal with constructive critics and know how to develop relationships with the team to achieve common goals;
- A good work ethic.
