Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic Data Engineer (Python) to join our growing global team, Recommendations domain to work on exciting projects like implementation of our own machine learning framework, integrating a feature store for supporting real-time data science requirements and the creation of complex data ingestion pipelines to support this!

Responsibilities

• Ingesting first and third-party data sources into our databases.
• Curating and maintaining high-quality data assets so our data scientists can make informed decisions and create better products.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality data assets.
• Deploying and maintaining ML models on our deployment framework.
• Architecting, defining, and building data pipelines to enable faster, better, data-informed decision-making.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent education or practical experience.
• Overall 3-5 years of experience in software engineering.
• Hands-on experience with writing clean, structured, and high-performance SQL and production-ready Python code with appropriate documentation.
• Strong understanding of software fundamentals, such as data structures and test-driven development.
• Experience with big data and data warehouse technologies are an added advantage.
• Experience with Airflow, Terraform, GCP and AWS are a plus.
• Ability to work in a collaborative and fast-paced environment with a growth mindset.
• Excellent written and spoken English communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team.
• Strong business mindset and ability to grasp business requirements from stakeholders.
