About the Position:

If you have a passion for the health and well-being of adolescents, this is the project for you! Become part of a data collection team who will administer surveys to middle and high school students to collect information on smoking, drug and alcohol use, and other health risk behaviors among adolescents. We need individuals in the following areas:

  • Boston
  • North Boston
  • Southeast Massachusetts
  • Springfield Area

Position Requirements:

  • Access to internet to enter daily school participation rates and receive assignments.
  • Personal email that can be used for project communications. 
  • Cell phone that can be used to call assigned schools in preparation for the survey administration visit.
  • A vehicle in good working condition to be used to drive to assigned schools.
  • A valid driver's license.
  • Ability to pass a background screening.
  • Successful completion of an in - person, mandatory 2- day training, January 16 & 17, 2025.

Experience Preferred:

  • Experience in field data collection.
  •  Experience in working with adolescent's, particularly in a school setting.
  • Experience in working with the public and leading a task.
  • Experience in working off-site with little face - face contact supervisor.

Personal Attributes Required:

  • Very well - organized and good at adhering to a tight schedule and a specified.
  • High self - confidence and the ability to deal with difficult situations professionally. 
  • Comfort in speaking in front of a small or large group.
  • Early morning person - scheduled arrival time can as early as 6:30am. 
  • Ability to lift and carry survey supplies up to 25 lbs.
  • A professional appearance and demeanor.
