The Team: S&P Global Market Intelligence Data Quality team is part of the Data Management group. The team is involved in maintaining data quality practices across the data organization.

The Impact: You will be responsible for running quality sampling and data audits checks, identifying the trends and pain areas and work on improvement plans. You will be working closely with product management, client support, data management and data operations to implement best practices for maintaining the data quality.

Responsibilities: 

• Deliver on expected productivity and timeliness targets. 

• Contribute towards process improvement through RCA. 

• Proactively looking for areas to improve overall data quality.  

• Proactively looking for procedure/ audit suggestions.  

• Work cross-functionally with product, sales, and support team members to foster a strong sense of community and information sharing. 

• Develop and implement data quality standards, policies, and procedures.

• Conduct regular data quality assessments and audits.

• Identify data quality issues and work with relevant teams to resolve them.

• Monitor data quality metrics and report findings to management.

• Collaborate across domains/datasets to ensure data is accurately captured and maintained.

• Provide training and support to staff on data quality best practices.

• Assist in the development of data quality tools and technologies.

• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in data quality management.

What we are looking for: 

• 5+ years of experience in financial services/investment management

• Good oral and written communication skills. 

• Client first focus and mindset

• Flexible to adapt to various work environments.  

• Ability to work with multiple teams. 

Basic Qualifications:

• Graduate/postgraduate in finance/MBA.

• Advance Proficiency of MS Excel.

• Proficiency of SQL.

• Knowledge of Power BI will be an added advantage.

• Basic Knowledge of Lean concepts is desirable.

• Knowledge of GenAI tools
