The Dashboard Creator is responsible for developing and maintaining interactive data visualization dashboards that transform complex market research data into intuitive, actionable insights for stakeholders. This role requires a blend of data analysis, design thinking, and technical skills to deliver real-time dashboards that meet the needs of both internal teams and clients. The position involves working closely with data analysts, researchers, and clients to understand their needs and present data in an engaging, user-friendly way.
Responsibilities:
- Create and maintain dashboards using tools like Tableau, Power BI, Google Data Studio, or other BI platforms.
- Ensure dashboards are visually appealing, easy to navigate, and tailored to different user needs.
- Use creative visualizations to turn raw data into meaningful insights, focusing on KPIs and trends.
- Connect dashboards to multiple data sources, ensuring data is accurate and up-to-date.
- Work closely with market research analysts to identify the most critical data points to visualize.
- Collaborate with IT and data engineering teams to ensure data flow and accuracy.
- Analyze datasets and extract key insights to be represented in dashboards.
- Transform complex data into clear visual narratives for non-technical stakeholders.
- Responsible for smooth handover to team members and clients on using and updating the dashboards independently.
What you will need:
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Systems, Marketing, Business, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in data visualization, BI development, or dashboard creation.
- Experience in market research or working with survey data is a plus.
- Proficiency with dashboard tools like Tableau, Power BI, Google Data Studio, or similar.
- Experience with SQL, APIs, or database management to connect and integrate data sources.
- Familiarity with data analysis tools such as Excel, Python, R, or SPSS.
- Basic knowledge of designing user-friendly dashboards.
- Ability to interpret complex data and present it in a simple, clear format.
- Experience with market research tools and survey platforms.
- Familiarity with advanced data visualization techniques and trends.
- Excellent verbal and written communication to explain data insights to non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with research teams, data engineers, and clients.
