- Conduct in-depth credit analysis of group lending, including financial statement analysis, credit scoring, and risk rating assignments.
- Monitor the performance of the credit portfolio, identifying trends, concentrations, and potential risks; prepare regular reports for management.
- Liaise with Funding Team to define RAC per Lenders to manage PD & CoC as per agreed appetite.
- Assist in the assessment of credit risk exposure across various portfolios and product lines, providing insights on risk mitigation strategies.
- Maintain and update credit and portfolio databases, ensuring data accuracy and integrity for analysis and reporting.
- Support the development and execution of stress testing scenarios to evaluate portfolio resilience under adverse economic conditions.
- Work closely with the underwriting, finance, and compliance teams to align on credit policies and ensure adherence to risk management standards.
- Stay informed about market trends, economic conditions, and regulatory changes that may impact credit risk and portfolio management.
- Prepare presentations and reports summarizing credit risk assessments and portfolio performance for senior management and stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master’s degree or relevant certifications (e.g., CFA, FRM) is a plus.
- 5-7 years of experience in credit analysis, risk management, or portfolio management within the financial services industry, especially in micro segment.
- Strong understanding of credit risk assessment methodologies, financial analysis, and portfolio management techniques.
- Excellent quantitative and analytical skills, with proficiency in data analysis tools and software (e.g., Excel, SQL, or risk management software).
- Knowledge of advanced analytical techniques, including statistical modeling.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, capable of presenting complex information clearly and concisely to various stakeholders.
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy in data analysis and reporting.
- Ability to identify issues, think critically, and develop practical solutions in a fast-paced environment.
