Job Description:

   

The Customer Project manager leads customer engagement to ensure that it meets all scope, time, budget and quality expectations, through planning, executing and controlling customer projects. He/She manages corporate, customer and third party vendor efforts to plan, sell and implement solutions to customer problems.  

 

How you will make your mark: 

 

  • Manages end-to-end customer project delivery of projects with visible impact on HPE Services  

  • Manages project financials including P&L: 

  • Meets or exceeds SOAR approved budgets 

  • Provides reliable financial forecasts  

 

  • Manages client relationships: 

  • Manages mid to upper level client delivery relationships 

  • Frequently represents the organization to external customers/clients 

 

  • Manages project team 

  • Manages internal as well as external resources with a team size less than 20 people 

  • Mentors and encourages skill development of project team members 

  • Provides detail performance review input and development recommendations for team members 

  • HPE procedures/ policies are strictly followed 

About you: 

 

  • First level university degree 

  • Professional experience: 5 years experience in customer facing project management or in similar roles/businesses

  • Fluent in verbal and written English  

  • Excellent communication, negotiation and influencing skills 

  • Demonstrates an in-depth understanding of key HPE TS-C operational policies, processes and methodologies applicable to project management.  

  • Deep knowledge of project management methods 

  • Ability to make quick and informed decisions 

  • Proactive and able to work under pressure 

  • Ability to operate effectively within a virtual (cross-cultural) team 

  • Participates in the HP PM Professions community 

  • Customer oriented attitude 

  • Strong problem solving and decision making skills
