You’re prepared to set and track goals that measure the efficacy of marketing campaigns and advocacy efforts, and you’re confident in speaking to any level of the organization.
Primary Responsibilities

  • Manage customer marketing program activities, including developing customer engagement strategies
  • Assist in ideating and executing customer campaigns, communicating product launches and new features, and other activities as defined by the organization
  • Build an advocate program: establish relationships with customers, recruit potential advocates, and facilitate engagement
  • Source, secure, and maintain customer advocacy pipelines and production, supporting Vasion’s target personas, industries, and market segments
  • Planning customer events such as System Administrator Day, while contributing to larger in-person events
  • Build communications for customers, including newsletters for both customers and advocates
  • Help maximize the effectiveness of go-to-market efforts utilizing customer content for campaigns, events, media activities, etc., through a content calendar that includes customer stories, newsletters, blogs, podcasts, and social media posts
  • Work with global marketing teams to support the incorporation of customers into their regional marketing activities
  • Monitor Vasion’s presence and engagement on review sites such as G2 and TrustRadius, managing review budgets and highlighting relevant content
  • Partner with Sales, Product Management, and Client Success organizations on advocacy activities to generate insights and satisfy the existing customer base
  • Support analyst relations, media relations, and events teams in securing customers for interviews, assessments, speaking engagements, panels, workshops, and conference participation
  • Establish success metrics for the customer marketing and advocacy functions, continuously analyze results, and make improvements accordingly
Requirements
  • 5+ years’ experience in B2B communications, B2B marketing, and/or developing customer marketing and advocacy programs
  • Experience developing and executing creative campaign ideas and programs
  • A proven track record of recruiting, motivating, and managing customer advocates
  • Available for occasional travel, up to 15%, to meet customers and attend events

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field
  • Demonstrated ability to build strong, lasting relationships with internal and external stakeholders (customers, Product Marketing, Sales, executives, etc.) as part of cross-functional teams
  • Invested in learning what matters to their customer and capable of speaking their language (both literally and figuratively, although Klingon is optional)
  • Experience managing vendors and other third-party contributors that play a role in the content creation, such as designers and external copywriters
  • Strong strategic thinking, problem-solving, and analytical skills
  • Superb written and general communications skills, including experience producing case studies, testimonials, and customer stories that are accessible, relatable, and capture the interest of technical administrators (even if it’s against their will)
  • Self-starter and solution-oriented; able to prioritize and work independently with minimal supervision and a can-do attitude to get things done
  • Strong interpersonal skills and executive presence, comfortable bouncing between corporate environments and technical teams
  • Deep empathy for both cross-functional partners and end users, with strong customer-centricity and experience serving as the voice of the customer
  • Excellent project management skills; results-focused with impactful execution and follow-through; highly detail-oriented
  • Community-building, user groups, and customer advisory board experience is a plus
