Day Shift between 6am-6pm
Here’s your opportunity to support an Enterprise-level U.S. Navy Call Center by developing training materials that support My Navy Career Center (MNCC) call center personnel. MNCC call center personnel are responsible for supporting Navy personnel with personnel and pay issues.
The design role will allow you to collaborate with various business leaders to determine training needs/gaps and create training courses that will help employees achieve their career goals - all while achieving organizational goals.

To qualify for this position, you will need:
- Strong ability to apply Instructional System Design (ISD) best practices using the ADDIE model
- Extensive knowledge of adult learning theory and the ability to transfer concepts and ideas into learning design.
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
- Evidence of applying Bloom’s Taxonomy to curriculum projects
- Knowledge of learning theories and instructional design models
- Knowledge of course development software
- Visual design skills (Dreamweaver, Photoshop, Illustrator, Microsoft Office Suite) and the ability to storyboard.
- Lesson and curriculum planning skills
- Ability to write effective copy, instructional text, audio scripts/video scripts.
- Virtual learning design experience
- Knowledge related to creating measurable knowledge transfer materials including SCCORUM.
- Ability to achieve and maintain a Secret Clearance
Responsibilities include:
- Design and develop instructional materials while incorporating instructional design principles and technologies.
- Demonstrate expertise in curriculum development and instructional strategies.
- Design learning content that produces measurable results
- Create high-quality learning content using design strategies that focus on adult learning styles.
- Apply tested instructional design theories, practices, and methods.
- Provide exercises and activities that enhance the learning process.
- Create supporting material/media (audio, video, simulations, role plays, games, etc.)
- Implement criteria used to judge learner’s retention levels and associated assessment instruments.
- Consistently review and update learning materials
- Measure/observe training delivery of content.
- Design instructional content using innovative and interactive methods and technologies to enhance the learning process.
- Collaborate with business analysts, subject matter experts, and key users to create effective educational content.
