Squarespace is looking for a CRM Strategist to develop, implement, and refine cross-channel CRM strategies that promote engagement, retention, and loyalty. We are looking for a blend of strategic thinking, technical proficiency, and operational excellence. You will execute CRM campaigns across email, push, and in-app channels, working collaboratively with creative, product marketing, and audience strategy teams to deliver high-impact campaigns that align with Squarespace's goals.

You will possess strong technical skills, a passion for data-driven marketing, and the ability to manage complex projects.

You will work hybrid from our New York headquarters and report to the CRM Associate Director.

You'll Get To...

  • Strategy & Execution: Develop and optimize CRM strategies across multiple channels, focusing on customer lifecycle engagement, retention, and revenue growth.
  • Campaign Management: Build, test, and deploy CRM campaigns across email, push notifications, and in-app messaging, ensuring alignment with KPIs such as open rates, CTR, conversion, and incremental revenue lift.
  • Dynamic Content Personalization: Leverage proprietary scripting languages to create personalized, dynamic content in emails, push notifications, and subject lines tailored to individual user behaviors and preferences.
  • Testing & Optimization: Lead multi-variant (A/B) testing to continuously improve campaign performance across different audience segments.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Serve as a CRM expert across the organization, partnering with the Creative, Audience Strategy, Engineering, and Analytics teams to ensure campaigns are aligned with brand goals and business objectives.
  • QA & Compliance: Oversee campaign QA processes to ensure content renders correctly across devices and platforms while maintaining compliance with regulations such as CAN-SPAM, CASL, and GDPR.

Who We're Looking For

  • Experience: 1 or more years in a CRM, email marketing role with expertise managing campaigns across multiple channels.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and dynamic content scripting languages. Familiarity with ESP platforms (such as Iterable or Braze) and understanding of email best practices.
  • Design: Strong eye for email design, layout, and current industry trends, with the ability to collaborate closely with creative teams to ensure visually appealing and on-brand campaigns.
  • Project Management: Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Compliance Knowledge: Understanding of global email compliance laws including CAN-SPAM, CASL, and GDPR.

Cash Compensation Range: $70,500 - $90,000 USD

The base salary for this position will vary based on job-related criteria including relevant skills, experience, and location, among other factors.

In addition to the cash compensation above (which includes base salary and, where applicable for eligible roles, may include on-target commissions or overtime pay), Squarespace employees are eligible to receive an incentive award as part of their total compensation.
