About the Role:
As Manager, CRM, you will lead marketing initiatives to drive subscriber engagement and retention. You will leverage new marketing technology, marketing channels, and customer data in innovative ways to deploy effective lifecycle marketing campaigns and customer-centric journeys. You will also operate as a product marketer, collaborating closely with cross-functional stakeholders to build new consumer offerings, as well as strategizing and executing a go-to-market strategy with critical marketing KPIs.
Reporting to the Director, CRM, you will be based in New York City, NY and work in our midtown Manhattan office 3x a week (Tuesday through Thursday).
As part of the CRM Marketing function, you will be embedded within the Engagement & Retention Marketing team, and will work cross-functionally with teams across the organization such as Subscriber Revenue, Retention, Marketing Operations, Marketing Strategy, Product, Engineering, Legal, and others.
You Will:
- Oversee marketing tactics and strategies for engaging and retaining subscribers.
- Build customer journeys and manage/organize complex user experiences to account for matrixed customer entitlements and market offerings.
- Manage the creation, production, and delivery of marketing materials. Work with internal departments and external agencies, draft creative briefs, provide creative feedback and manage approvals.
- Collaborate with product and business strategy teams to inform and build a new GTM product. Operate in a traditional product marketing flow, influencing and informing the product build, whilst leveraging the product roadmap to inform marketing campaign planning.
- Operate directly within CRM tool(s) to conceptualize and design holistic, multi-channel subscriber journeys.
- Navigate and define next steps in ambiguous projects without precedent, leveraging experience, available resources and insights to make the best judgment call.
- Communicate effectively and represent the team in department-wide meetings.
- Exercise a thorough knowledge of Dow Jones brands and an ability to balance team goals with overall company objectives.
You Have:
- The willingness to work in our midtown Manhattan office 3 days every week
- Experience in a subscription-based business, ideally with responsibility for improving subscriber journeys
- Minimum 3 years of experience working in a CRM, lifecycle marketing, and/or engagement marketing role
- Minimum one year of product marketing experience, leading GTM strategies for consumer products (preferably in the news/media or financial services industries)
- Experience diving into data and dashboards to derive insights, report on campaign results, and make data-informed decisions
- Experience facilitating complex projects with multiple stakeholders and with adherence to critical deadlines
- Experience recognizing problems before they arise, then proactively developing and communicating solutions
- The ability to balance strategic thinking with detailed execution
- First-rate communication and writing skills, with the ability to present to and navigate large, highly matrixed organizations, effectively conveying the vision and advocating for the customer (subscriber)
- Outstanding cross-group collaboration, interpersonal, problem solving, and executive presentation skills
- The ability to work quickly in a fast-paced environment, as well as manage multiple, mutually exclusive and competing priorities
- Strong organization and detail-orientation skills
- Preference: thorough knowledge of the financial sector and stock markets

Pay Range: $90,000 - $110,000
