FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
• Develop, execute, and communicate comprehensive sales and marketing vision and tactics aligned with ESET’s strategies and business objectives and market opportunities.
• Inspire and lead local S&M teams. Set performance expectations and provide guidance. Build strong team of direct reports able to collaborate with their HQ counterparts, lead execution and coach their teams.
• Foster and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders to enhance market presence and drive sales opportunities.
• Contribute to the development of country-specific business plans, budgets, and forecasts, collaborating with the global strategy and planning teams.
• Lead and motivate local organization and actively develop talent in sales and commercial part of mainly direct reports and leaders below them.
• Lead the sales and commercial teams to fulfill their targets, following the standard processes, policies, and tools with focus on active pipeline management.
• Identify market trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs to inform product and service offerings, ensuring a productive feedback loop to headquarters is in place this way.
• Provide insights and recommendations to headquarters regarding market trends, challenges, and opportunities.
• Monitor and analyze sales and commercial performance regularly, market trends, and financial data to identify areas for improvement and growth.
• Prepare regular reports and presentations based on agreement with direct superior.
• Collaborate with local legal department or local external legal advisor to manage commercial contracts, agreements, and legal matters specific to the local jurisdiction. In certain cases, specified in the global policies, collaborate also with other legal department within ESET group.
• Provide feedback to other supporting teams within ESET group in order to contribute to smooth operations in the local sales office.
• Collaborate with global counterparts to implement standardized processes, policies, and best practices.
• Represent the local legal entity and the brand towards external entities (distributors, resellers, end users, vendors, potential employees, etc.); negotiate, sign, and terminate agreements with them in accordance with granted powers of attorneys/commissions.
• Represent the local legal entity in judicial and state authority institutions, local government bodies, and other institutions and banks in accordance with granted powers of attorneys/commissions.
• Prepare and execute comprehensive sales and marketing vision and tactics for entrusted office in compliance with overall strategy and direction of the ESET group and be responsible for implementation of the strategy within the entrusted office.
• Together with Operations Manager manage implementation and oversee adherence of global operational procedures, policies, and standards. Focus on the procedures, polices and standards regarding the sales and marketing agenda.
MANAGERIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
• Contribute to the development of corporate strategy
• In cooperation with superior employees, prepare strategy of entrusted office in compliance with overall strategy and direction of the region and company and be responsible for implementation of the strategy within the entrusted office.
• Prepare a yearly business plan and budget with clear objectives per channel and segment, and revenue and expenses forecast, to be approved by the regional and global management of ESET, and leads the local team to accomplish the targets and goals defined by the business and operational plans within the approved budget.
• Assess and enforce initiatives, investments and opportunities in compliance with corporate strategy.
• Make efficient decisions based on all available information and be responsible for them.
• Build and support efficient cooperation and achievement of goals within office, between organizational units and across the company. Ensure efficient communication and sharing of relevant information.
• Be responsible for setting and achieving goals of subordinate organizational units within office in compliance with regional goals.
• Set clear and real goals and expectations towards work performance of immediate subordinates within prescribed deadlines.
• Manage, plan and delegate work to immediate subordinates and be responsible for performance of assigned tasks in accordance with established procedures and processes.
• Provide regular feedback and evaluate work performance of immediate subordinates (e.g. probation period, definite period, assessment interviews).
• Ensure optimum planning of human resources, their substitutability and be responsible for attendance of direct subordinates. Cooperate with direct superior on planning for personnel and organizational changes.
• Cooperate on new employee recruitment process.
• In cooperation with immediate subordinates prepare their personal development plans, ensure relevant development and educational activities and support implementation of new knowledge and skills in practice.
• Encourage immediate subordinates to take initiative and responsibility in task performance, engage them in the decision-making process in order to increase their involvement and motivation.
• Actively look for and exploit opportunities for own development and education and share experience and professional knowledge with others.
REQUIREMENTS
Education:
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Law, or a related field;
Experience:
• Proven track record of successful sales, commercial and marketing leadership, with a minimum of [8] years of experience in a senior management role.
• Strong understanding of legal and compliance matters, with experience in contract negotiation and risk management.
• Experience managing cross-functional teams, preferably in a multinational environment.
Knowledge:
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Strategic thinker with the ability to translate high-level goals into actionable plans.
• Analytical mindset with proficiency in data analysis and reporting.
• Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
Language:
• Fluency in local language(s) and English is required.
