Job Description:
The Services Country Manager you will be accountable for all HPE Operations Services Management activities in Ukraine, covered by MAP Sophela and PLC RMC Countries, including Azerbaijan, Armenia, Georgia. You will be the SPOC for all these countries in front of Customers, Service Delivery Partners, Business Partners Master Area, Sophela and GTM Partners for all delivery related topics. The main activities of a Services Country Manager for MAP and PLC countries require strong Services background, Customer Management skills, as well as close cooperation with different teams in HPE Operations and GTM organization.
Role will be accountable of all services business for MAP and PLC countries for all delivery related topics.
The Services Country Manager is responsible for the overall management of a service segment of significant scope and complexity at the country, region or worldwide level. Includes but is not limited to development, implementation and governance of product service or solution portfolio lifecycle management, revenue growth programs through the appropriate routes to market. Includes but is not limited to achieving revenue, profit and/or TCE goals for that segment/entity.
The Services Country Manager will have unique mastery and recognized authority on relevant subject matter knowledge including technologies, theories and techniques. Contributes to the development of innovative principles and ideas. Successfully operates in the most complex disciplines, in which the company must operate to be successful. Provides highly innovative solutions. Leads large, cross-division functional teams or projects that affect the organization's long-term goals and objectives. May participate in cross-division, multi-function teams. Provides mentoring and guidance to lower level employees. Routinely exercises independent judgment in developing methods, techniques and criteria for achieving objectives. Develops strategy and sets functional policy and direction. Acts as a functional manager within area of expertise but does not manage other employees as a primary job function.
Responsibilities:
- BOM ongoing maintenance (stakeholders: MAP project / program mgmt. team, MAP Sales and Delivery Management.)
- Act as interface with the MAP to identify gaps & needed changes.
- Drive MAP-facing communication of the BOM (awareness & compliance) for all parties including sales and delivery teams.
- Drive business growth opportunities in close collaboration with GTM
- Ensure smooth daily Services Operation by working with E2E stakeholders (stakeholders: GRS, SC, RASM, Finance, Vendor Management, PSDMs)
- Adhere to RACI and R&Rs.
- Provide support in escalations and elevations. Meet with customers and GTM hardware and services sales team for regular communication, acting as a SPOC
- Ensure Delivery Readiness and SC setup are in place to meet the contractual obligations
- Oversee the deliverables for our Complete Care and Professional Services customers
- Define and execute Delivery Management Framework by aligning with MAP stakeholders (MAP Delivery Manager, MAP MD, HPE Services Sales and Delivery Management).
- Support resource planning and hiring process in an advisor role.
- Coordinate & align with higher-level MAP management (Midis, Sophela) to seek for synergies and take leverage of potential regional setup.
- Govern Capacity & Capability planning (stakeholders: CSLV and HPC Sales, Pursuit, WW Portfolio, MAP Delivery mgmt. )
- Regularly align with key stakeholders (e.g. CSLV Sales, Portfolio teams).
- Drive C&C planning with MAP ensuring smooth operation.
- Ensure COD is under control and raise awareness of any out-of-budget cost elements.
- Manage MAP & PLC financials for subk (stakeholders: HPE Finance, MAP finance, MAP Delivery mgmt., Central Invoice / Framework global teams, MAP program mgmt)
- Issue & track POs, invoices for: MAPA fulfillment fee, out of MAP territory activities and
- SubK-type activities (e.g. Central Invoice/Framework deals).
- Ensure compliance with relevant processes / procedures.
- Manage and execute SubK-type MAP activities (stakeholders: Global deals teams, HPE SXD Country leads, HPE MAP program mgmt., MAP Delivery):
- Monitor and support out of MAP territory delivery, including SoW maintenance, adhering to defined processes.
- Facilitate CI/Framework deal management & pricing, including quotation handling, SoW governance, POs and invoicing.
- Ensure awareness of relevant MAP C&C with all key players (e.g. for global deals, CSLV and HPC sales teams, CInC, etc.)
- KPI management (stakeholders: HPE Services mgmt., HPE MAP program mgmt., MAP Delivery):
- Support MAP in developing their KPIs.
- Act as a consultant to establish KPI management framework and to define improvement initiatives based on the results.
- Manage HPE-owned KPIs accordingly.
- Own, communicate and represent relevant KPIs to stakeholders (e.g. HPE Services Management, Domains, CSLV Management).
Education and Experience Required:
- Typically 12+ years to demonstrate mastery of Service Business Management.
- Advanced experience in several of the related disciplines of delivery, solution architecting or business planning prior to taking business management role.
Knowledge and Skills:
- High knowledge of services industry.
- In-depth knowledge of the company's organization and policies, services offerings, end to end processes, tools, and routes to market.
- Unique mastery and recognized authority in area of responsibility. Need solid technical, and state-of- the-art functional, or business knowledge.
- Highly developed problem solving abilities.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire teams, develop relationships across organizations and accomplish goals under pressure situations. Strong skills in exercising independent judgment.
- Ability to correctly design reports and interpret their output.
- Highly developed project/ program management and change management skills. Solid understanding of business planning methods and business acumen.
- Excellent presentation skills. Highly developed negotiation/ influencing skills.
