The Corporate Platform Engineering Lead will oversee the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of critical enterprise platforms. This role requires expertise in software development, platform engineering, cloud-native technologies, and CI/CD toolchains, along with the ability to lead in a high-growth regulated environment.
Responsibilities

Grow and maintain a diverse, skilled, and motivated engineering team.

Lead engineering efforts to deliver applications and services built on platforms like ServiceNow, SharePoint, Archer, and MuleSoft.

Collaborate with product, architecture, security, and infrastructure partners to deliver in alignment with product and technology roadmaps, and enterprise architecture standards.

Lead the development of a next-generation development platform utilizing GenAI and embodying design principles such as cloud-smart delivery, everything-as-code, single-source of truth, self-service, 80/20 automaton, and end-to-end observability & metrics.

Promote a culture of continuous transformation adopting emerging technologies to ensure platforms meet the needs of the business more safely, securely, and economically.

Partner with production support to implement bank-standard monitoring, incident response, and disaster recovery processes and ensure the reliability, performance, and security of all managed platforms.

Manage vendor relationships and contracts related to platform engineering efforts, optimizing value and performance.
Qualifications

A bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or a related field is preferred.

15+ years of experience in technology leadership roles, with a focus on platform engineering and enterprise technology management.

Proven track record of leading large-scale platform initiatives and cloud transformations in a large financial services company.

Hands-on expertise in container and cloud-native technologies in a major cloud provider.

Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Demonstrated ability to drive change and deliver results in an outcome-oriented, high-growth corporate culture.
Preferred Skills

Experience with Azure cloud architecture and services.

Hands-on experience with GenAI products such as Office Copilot, GitHub Copilot, etc.

Knowledge of DevOps/GitOps practices with CI/CD platforms like GitHub, GitLab, Terraform, Backstage, etc. in a highly regulated enterprise.

Exposure to data warehouse, data lake, or data mesh architectures, products, and patterns.

Familiarity with banking industry governance, risk management, and compliance practices.

Relevant certification (e.g., Azure Solutions Architect Expert, AWS Solutions Architect, etc.) and/or IT Service Management (e.g., ITIL).
The expected base salary ranges from $190,000.00 - $275,000.00. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, where applicable, certifications and licenses obtained. Market and organizational factors are also considered. In addition to salary and a generous employee benefits package, successful candidates are eligible to receive a discretionary bonus.
