Job Description
This is a summer internship opportunity within a large and growing alternative asset manager. Brookfield Public Securities Group's Liquid Corporate Credit Team is seeking a High Yield Analyst Intern for the Summer of 2025. The right intern will contribute meaningfully to this fast-growing team's goals while completing the program. The position is located in Chicago. Brookfield will assist with short-term relocation as needed. Program Overview:
- 10 weeks in duration guided by a week-by-week schedule
- We will assign you a mentor and one or more projects
- Your mentor will act as both a resource and manager of the program
- Potential for extended internship / fulltime employment
- This is an in-person and paid internship
Qualifications:
- Enrollment in a fulltime MBA program
- High proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Bloomberg
- Demonstrated financial modeling ability
- Demonstrated interest in credit / value investing
- Strong speaking and presentation skills
- Experience in the leveraged finance markets a plus, but not required
