Job Description:
Main Activities
- Creation of needs forecast (AHE demand) and purchase orders.
- Monitors the supply Line of Balance (AHE demand vs Supplier capacity) so that, in case of miss coverage / deviations, involves and coordinates the various stakeholders (Supplier, Supply Officer, SCQM, Work Preparation), ensuring that the root causes are identified and the mitigation and/or recovery actions are defined, drum beating for its accomplishment in due time.
- Punctually reports to internal customers the miss coverage and relevant associated information like root causes, actions in place and its status, stakeholders, A/Cs impacted, recovery forecast / DDs, short term criticality, etc.
- Purchase Orders follow-up (collaboration with supplier) until the material is available in free stock.
- Encourages the various stakeholders for suppliers’ development and strengthen the industrial maturity to anticipate and resolve structural supplier issues and to prepare production ramp-ups.
- Drives supplier Capacity Assessment ahead of new contracts, demand updates or supplier production disruptions.
- Fosters and coordinates the periodical follow up meetings with suppliers, as well as on site missions when necessary to ensure the right level of understanding of supplier´s processes and capacities for required steering and control. Participates in the missions when the supply is critical.
- Single point of contact for supply chain related issues within the corresponding Commodity: as an Internal Supplier towards Production Lines and as a Customer when supply chain management is outsourced, either internally to AH Procurement Operation or externally to a subcontractor.
- Arranges and leads the management follow up routines with outsourced supply chain management interfaces.
- Exchanges with supplier on Supplier´s Performance for continuous improvement plans.
- Monitors and drum beats the actions related to supplier Non Conformities (incl. NCDA / SRFD) when the material availability is short term jeopardized so that the coverage is not ensured, thus the continuity of the workshop operations.
- Ensures the escalation process is triggered for critical topics and correctly addressed in both axis, expertise area (SO, SCQM, Logistics, Engineering, M&T, etc) and hierarchy / management.
- Ensures the adherence to supply chain management standards (processes/methods/tools/KPIs).
- Actively supports the supply chain digital transformation, contributing innovation initiatives.
- Preserves the safety stock constitution and ensures the right system parametrization.
- Actively pursues the understanding and manages the customer expectations and priorities, aiming for the best deal for AHE during negotiation, considering the supplier constraints and customer expectations.
- Keeps truthful communication with the suppliers and with all the stakeholders.
Professional Experience
2-3 years’ experience in aeronautical supply chain: Supply Officer, Supply Chain Quality Manager, Suppliers Development
Or
2-3 years’ experience in aeronautical industrial operations (production / work preparation)
Competencies
