The Opportunity


Atomi is looking for an exceptional content design leader to cultivate and shape our educational content design from start to end. As part of our world-class team, you’ll play a critical role in supporting thousands of high school students and teachers to adopt, use and learn from our curriculum-aligned videos and interactive lessons and assessments to help us achieve our mission to help unlock the world’s potential by enhancing the way we teach and learn.

What you'll do...

  • Own the standards of Atomi’s educational content design principles and process and drive the development and improvement of existing and new content products to meet curriculum and student needs.
  • Uphold and shape Atomi’s voice and tone guidelines, visual design principles, pedagogical approaches to lesson design, accessibility standards and more.
  • Design training programs to support implementing Content Design initiatives across a large and diverse team of educational content writers and designers.
  • Develop and uphold Atomi’s editorial policy and ensure its implementation across the educational content creation team through training and upskilling efforts.
  • Manage and mentor a Content Design Instructor who supports new team members through content design training, providing guidance, feedback and support to help them succeed.
  • Provide meticulous feedback as and where necessary to ensure educational content writers and designers create work that is on brand, fit-for-purpose and at a high-quality publication standard.
  • Foster an empowering feedback culture among the content design team.
  • Collaborate in course design and product development processes to provide content design solutions.
  • Translate content design solutions into scaleable practices through guides, documentation and training.

  • Work independently and be a driven self-starter with excellent organisational skills who can drive content projects from start to finish with the ability to achieve consistency.
  • Ability to present and sell ideas, create partnerships, and build support with a solid understanding of user experience content design principles.
  • Creative problem-solver who approaches problems with curiosity and can lead large content efforts coupled with the capability to juggle and prioritise many projects simultaneously.
