WHAT YOU WILL DO: 

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Compliance Specialist to support a compliance and audit preparation program. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in compliance tracking, audit management, and program management, with a demonstrated proficiency in project management and organization.

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Lead the documentation and assessment process for a compliance framework, working closely with business teams to identify and address any deficiencies in preparation for the audit.
  • Utilize the AuditBoard platform to track, manage, and report on the status of the compliance program.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure that compliance requirements are understood and met across the organization.
  • Provide regular updates to senior management on the progress of the compliance program and audit readiness.
  • Maintain comprehensive and up-to-date program documentation to support ongoing compliance efforts and future audits.
  • Identify risks and recommend solutions to enhance the organization's compliance posture.

YOUR EXPERIENCE:

  • Excellent program management and organizational skills, with the ability to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to present complex updates to senior management.
  • Detail-oriented, with a focus on accuracy and thoroughness in documentation.
  • Compliance background is preferred, specifically in frameworks such as NIST 800-171 .
  • Experience using compliance tracking systems (AuditBoard or a comparable platform) is also preferred.

 WHAT WE OFFER:

  • Competitive compensation with opportunities for additional incentives. The annual salary range for this role is $85,000-$100,000.

LOCATION:

This role is hybrid, and requires some on-site presence at our client's location in Seattle, WA.
