Job Description:

The Compute Technical Community Leader plays a key guidance position in assisting technical community to team up and learn how to perform better as they interact regularly. Other responsibilities include:
• leadership role in developing technical community to collaborate and take collective responsibility for Compute 
• responsible for member experience, moderation, content design, relationships building and facilitation of HPE Tech Pro online forums
• shape and drive HPE Compute Ambassador Community, manage membership, advocate with stakeholders (Compute BU, Geos, Central Teams, OCTO, etc.) and measure and evaluate community’s contributions

Moreover, the Compute Technical Community Leader is also responsible for facilitating and providing the necessary governance and coordinative support to enable education, training and knowledge sharing within his or her community perpetually aligned with HPE Compute BU strategy. Other responsibilities include:
• identify key content and resources, and work with the Compute BU to advise on how to better communicate, promote and position the content for the community (i.e. TekTalks, Hands-on Labs, Podcasts, Golden Pitches…)
• design and orchestrate the Compute track at the technical regional events (HPE Tech Jam)
• shape the recommended career enablement plans by role and job level (RBLJ) for their community and the mandatory quarterly enablement plans (Leading Edge)
• identify content for Learning Paths and Presales badges to validate knowledge (Continuous Learning)
• point of contact for Certification training on Compute

The Compute Technical Community Leader needs to incorporate and align Compute Services Sales with the HPE Operations team and more tightly integrate services on the different programs WW Presales lead with a clear intent to increase services intensity and customer value.

Other responsibilities of the Compute Technical Community Leader are:
• promote HPE Tech Pro as the main technical hub and forum for building capability and sharing practice
• lead and foster useful and spirited discussions in his or her community
• motivate active participation on the different programs
• recognize members’ varying levels of experience, coach, mentor and encourage people when needed
• measure and evaluate the community’s contributions
• work with other Technical Community Leaders to agree on a group standard for best practices and identify and assess cross-HPE solutions and technologies for the complete HPE and Partner Technical Community

The expected salary/wage range for a U.S.-based hire filling this position is provided below. Actual offer may vary from this range based upon geographic location, work experience, education/training, and/or skill level. If this is a sales role, then the listed salary range reflects combined base salary and target-level sales compensation pay. If this is a non-sales role, then the listed salary range reflects base salary only. Variable incentives may also be offered. USD Annual Salary: $130,500.00 - $300,000.00
