About the Role
We are seeking a Compliance Readiness Analyst with 3-5 years of experience to play a critical role in preparing our organization for compliance audits and certifications. This fully remote position focuses on ensuring our policies, standards, and systems are audit-ready and aligned with leading compliance frameworks. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver with strong skills in policy development, gap analysis, and collaborating with IT and security teams to ensure compliance readiness.
Key Responsibilities

Conduct gap analyses to assess the organization's current state against key compliance frameworks, including NIST, ISO Certifications and Secure Controls Framework (SCF).

Collaborate with IT, security, and business teams to design and implement remediation plans to address compliance gaps.

Develop and maintain policy and standards documentation to align with industry standards and organizational requirements.

Support audit preparation activities, ensuring all systems, processes, and documentation are audit-ready.

Evaluate IT systems and processes for alignment with security and compliance requirements.

Provide training and guidance to teams on compliance standards and best practices.

Monitor changes in compliance regulations and frameworks, ensuring the organization stays ahead of requirements.
Required Qualifications

3-5 years of experience in compliance readiness, auditing, or policy development.

Strong knowledge of NIST, ISO certifications, and SCF standards.

Proven ability to analyze compliance gaps and implement effective solutions.

Experience writing and maintaining policy and standards documentation.

Hands-on experience with IT systems compliance evaluation.

Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills.

Ability to work independently in a remote environment, managing multiple tasks effectively.
Educational Qualifications

Required: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.

Preferred: Master’s degree in Information Systems Management, Risk Management, or Business Administration (MBA).
Certifications (Nice-to-Have)
While certifications are not mandatory, the following are considered a plus:

Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA)

ISO 27001 Lead Implementer or Lead Auditor
