Working at Atlassian
Atlassians can choose where they work - whether in an office, from home, or a combination of the two. That way, Atlassians have more control over supporting their family, personal goals, and other priorities. We can hire people in any country where we have a legal entity. Interviews and onboarding are conducted virtually, a part of being a distributed-first company.
To help our teams work together effectively, this role requires you to be located in the Philippines.
We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Software and Systems Administrator to join our team and provide essential support to Atlassian staff. This role is critical in ensuring seamless access management, effective administration of SaaS platforms, compliance with licensing requirements, and efficient management of employee access. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, demonstrates meticulous attention to detail, and has a passion for improving processes and systems.
In this role, you'll get to:
- Handle a high volume of staff requests for access management, including Active Directory (AD) group memberships, mailing lists, Google Workspace, and Slack administration.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records for manual AD group memberships and mailing lists.
- Oversee software licensing across multiple departments, including issuing licenses, auditing for inactive licenses, managing renewals, reclaiming licenses upon employee exits, and ensuring compliance.
- Support software rationalization efforts, vendor consolidation, and change management initiatives.
- Manage secure and orderly termination of access for exiting employees, particularly for non-automated systems.
- Manage bot and generic account requests across multiple systems, ensuring compliance and proper usage.
- Perform front-end administration for the majority of SaaS applications used across the organization.
- Oversee all Slack app requests, ensuring proper integration and efficient management within the company's communication ecosystem.
- Proactively identify opportunities to streamline processes for access management, software procurement, and license auditing.
- Enhance operational efficiency by implementing best practices and improving workflows.
- Contribute to the creation and maintenance of IT support documentation and guidelines to ensure consistent and effective operations.
On your first day, we'll expect you to have:
- Proven experience in IT support, application and systems administration, or a similar role.
- Hands-on experience with tools such as Google Workspace, Active Directory (AD), and Slack administration.
- Familiarity with access management, SaaS platforms, and software licensing processes.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities with a proactive approach to addressing challenges.
- Ability to efficiently manage high volumes of requests without compromising quality.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments and translate complex technical concepts into simple, non-technical language.
- A strong passion for delivering excellent customer service, with a balanced approach to technical problem-solving and user support.
- Knowledge of Atlassian tools and platforms is a strong advantage.
