Core Responsibilities
As a Compliance Engineer your main role is to support creating an agile and dynamic governance program towards our LEGO® License partners and manufacturers. With guidance from the Head of Licensing & Extended Line (LEL) Compliance and Compliance Manager, you will participate in:

Screening & Onboarding coordination
-
Running daily operation, correspondence and questions from business and licensing partners

Make sure that Responsible Business Principles (RBP) is followed by our licensees via our audit program and other due diligence activities.

In collaboration with LEL collaborators, Responsible Operations (RO) and internal colleagues in the LEL Compliance team, assist the Compliance Manager in relevant dialogues and negotiations with licensed partner selection and on relevant LEGO Group requirements.

Support the Sustainability team in compliance tasks related to our ReDo program which support implementation in LEL

Contact person to audit system provider from LEL Compliance on operations task
Please note that there is not relocation assistance offered for this role, which is based in Billund (DK). Limited travel activity is expected (probably app. 5 days a year).

This role sits in the Quality in Markets & Channels team in Corporate Quality & EHS. The LEL Compliance team aims to ensure that the LEGO Group's Outbound License partners and manufacturers are living up to the LEGO Group requirements in close collaboration with relevant collaborators in the Licensing & Extended Line (LEL) who formally is responsible for the Licensees.
These requirements can be split in product safety and supplier quality and ethical, social and sustainability which apply to all strategic suppliers and license partners.

A relevant education within supply chain or manufacturing engineering or similar - you may also have gained some entry-level experience in handling social compliance or supplier quality management within retail or supply chains, for an international/global brand.

Interest and knowledge of supply chain mapping, social compliance and sustainability, and on top of that ethical audit's knowledge will be a plus

Our Licensing Partners produce a variety of items (e.g. garments, homeware, and publications). We seek individuals who find it exciting to work across such diverse industries, with a preference for those experienced in managing licensing programs

Adept at mapping and assessing partner risks and presenting your findings to key collaborators with confidence, and proficient in English written and spoken

Comfortable collaborating with global teams - understanding and embracing diversity
