Job Summary
The Auditor, Legal Compliance & Regulatory conducts standardized compliance assessments through various credentialing technologies and details the results.
Job Responsibilities
- Perform regular and ad hoc audits of credentialing processes to ensure clinician files meet company, state, federal, client, The Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations requirements.
- Apply credentialing technology and audit tools to complete audits with a high degree of accuracy and observe efforts closely against the agreed scope to ensure timely and accurate completion.
- Proactively identify and mitigate all risks to achieve target completion dates and communicate production status and risk identification to management.
- Proactively engage with and support internal functional teams and customers to ensure the completion of compliance initiatives such as strike events, electronic medical records projects, state audits, and facility audits.
- Assist with workflow development and implementation of quality-related activities.
- Demonstrate analytical approach and performance drive to measure the success of compliance projects.
- Assist in the preparation of compliance submissions for internal and external audits and inspections.
- Meet daily and monthly productivity and accuracy metrics
- Technology-focused approach with ability to complete audits and assessments from various credentialing and Vendor Management technologies.

- Application of standardized audit and review methods
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, specifically Microsoft Excel
- Ability to pivot and manage competing interests to meet operational needs
- Ability to focus and manage details with precision and accuracy
- Excellent time management, prioritization, and organizational skills with high work standards and attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Qualifications
Education & Years of Experience
- High School Diploma/GED plus 5-7 years of work experience
Certifications
- Certified in Healthcare Compliance (CHC) (Preferred)
Additional Experience
- Experience in regulatory research and analysis
- Operational experience in staffing, healthcare, audit, or quality positions
- Experience in compliance, auditing, and/or credentialing
Work Environment / Physical Requirements
- Work is performed in an office/home office environment.
- Team Members must have the ability to operate standard office equipment and keyboards.

Pay Rate$27.25 - $32.25 Hourly
Final pay rate is dependent on experience, training, education, and location.
