Key Responsibilities:
As a Community Outreach Assistant, you’ll have the chance to develop valuable skills while playing a crucial role in driving our outreach initiatives. Your main responsibilities will include:
- Engaging with the public to educate and inform them about our nonprofit partners and their missions.
- Supporting fundraising efforts by meeting and exceeding outreach goals.
- Managing event logistics and ensuring events run smoothly.
- Organizing and preparing event materials such as signage, promotional materials, and supplies.
- Acting as the primary point of contact for event attendees, answering questions, and providing information.
- Building positive relationships with community members and encouraging support.
- Tracking donations and event data, providing feedback to improve future events.
- Collaborating with the team to develop strategies and create impactful outreach campaigns.

- High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor’s degree preferred)
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage and connect with others
- Enthusiastic and outgoing personality with a passion for customer engagement
- Ability to work independently as well as within a team environment
- Organizational skills to manage event materials and track donations
- Previous experience in customer service, sales, or event coordination is a plus (but not required)
- Basic math skills for processing donations and tracking sales data
