Key Responsibilities:

As a Community Outreach Assistant, you’ll have the chance to develop valuable skills while playing a crucial role in driving our outreach initiatives. Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Engaging with the public to educate and inform them about our nonprofit partners and their missions.
  • Supporting fundraising efforts by meeting and exceeding outreach goals.
  • Managing event logistics and ensuring events run smoothly.
  • Organizing and preparing event materials such as signage, promotional materials, and supplies.
  • Acting as the primary point of contact for event attendees, answering questions, and providing information.
  • Building positive relationships with community members and encouraging support.
  • Tracking donations and event data, providing feedback to improve future events.
  • Collaborating with the team to develop strategies and create impactful outreach campaigns.

  • Organizational skills to manage event materials and track donations
  • Previous experience in customer service, sales, or event coordination is a plus (but not required)
  • Basic math skills for processing donations and tracking sales data
