Community Content Producer

Role Summary: Are you a creative storyteller with a passion for engaging and inspiring digital communities? The Content Producer plays a key role in shaping the voice and experience of our community through impactful, relevant, and innovative content. From thought-provoking articles to interactive virtual events, this role brings the community to life and fosters meaningful connections among its members.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and Execute Content Strategy:

  • Lead the creation and implementation of a comprehensive content strategy that aligns with business goals and meets the needs of the community.
  • Innovate with fresh ideas to keep the community inspired and engaged.

Create and Manage a Content Calendar:

  • Plan and deliver a steady stream of high-impact content across digital platforms.
  • Ensure content is timely, relevant, and tailored to the community’s interests.

Produce Engaging Content:

  • Develop high-quality articles, blog posts, videos, presentations, and more to inform and entertain community members.
  • Experiment with new content formats and technologies to elevate the user experience.

Foster Community Experience:

  • Design interactive digital experiences such as gamification, virtual events, and polls to deepen engagement.
  • Spark meaningful conversations and interactions within the community.

Leverage Performance Metrics and Feedback:

  • Use data and feedback to refine content strategies and ensure content resonates with the audience.
  • Continuously optimize formats, topics, and delivery channels for maximum impact.

Collaborate Across Teams:

  • Partner with marketing, product, and commercial teams to ensure content aligns with organizational objectives.
  • Contribute creative ideas to cross-functional initiatives and campaigns.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in digital content creation, community engagement, or a related role, ideally within commodities or similar industries.
  • Strong understanding of digital community dynamics and online engagement best practices.
  • Proficiency in content creation tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, and Audacity.

Key Soft Skills:

  • Exceptional storytelling and writing skills to create compelling content.
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
  • Collaborative mindset with strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Creative thinker with a proactive approach to innovation and problem-solving.

Additional Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with virtual event production and event management software.
  • Fluency in additional languages is a plus.
  • Previous experience in the commodities industry or a similar digital community role is highly desirable.

Performance Metrics

  • Growth in community engagement and interaction rates.
  • Positive feedback from members regarding content relevance and quality.
  • Success of digital experiences and events in driving participation.
  • Content performance metrics such as views, shares, and conversions.
