Core Responsibilities
Earned campaign development, activation & evaluation (approx. 50%)

Drive commercial growth through insight-led execution, igniting earned media conversations to reinforce LEGO play values and stimulate brand desire

Be the voice of Earned PR within APAC regional and local marketing teams, ensuring Earned channels are prioritized and coordinated into marketing plans

Help craft global campaign development by representing regional market insights and needs via head of Markets & Channels Communications

Support and enable local market teams to translate and adapt global campaigns into impactful local plans/activations across relevant channels (e.g. PR, Influencers, deep fans, events, etc.)

Lead all aspects of campaign activation and evaluation to ensure consistency and executional excellence, capturing, sharing and actioning relevant takeaways

Support local markets to ensure the best methodology earned communications, agency relationships e.g. procurement, briefing world-class process, priority narratives, key messages, etc.
Strategic corporate communications (approx. 30%)

Lead and maintain brand reputation in the LEGO Group’s APAC markets

Support work to establish the company and brand in new markets, including but not limited to India, Indonesia and Vietnam

Have the skills and experience to provide support for a broad range of corporate communication activities including but not limited to issues management, corporate media relations (e.g., act as an extension of the distributed team in responding to difficult issues, sensitive reporting, media relations, proactively or reactively communicating corporate positions)

Support essential communication opportunities (e.g. sustainability communication) in collaboration with the distributed team and local business units
Communications partnering (approx. 20%)

Be a trusted essential communication adviser to the Regional President and APAC Leadership Team, across the full breadth of communication subject areas (strategic, crisis management, media relations, thought leadership etc.)

Drive regional strategic internal communication activity to support delivery of business plans and colleague motivation and satisfaction. This includes delivering key internal communication moments (e.g. organizational change, Town Halls, team meetings, internal channel content & activation, etc.)

This is an excellent generalist communication role which includes a wide variety of responsibility. It will be responsible for the regional adaptation and implementation of global campaigns, support delivery of commercial plans – including emerging market development – and provide sophisticated communication counsel to the regional leadership team and President. This role sits in Corporate Brand Communications but requires skillful and mature engagement across regional marketing teams, government & public affairs, commercial management in Business Units, regional leadership and global communication functions including corporate communications, executive partnering and internal communications.
Do you have what it takes:

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
-
Validated work experience in consumer-facing communications (both agency and in-house experience preferred)

Experience working in sophisticated, global organizations, ideally working at a regional or multi-market role in APAC (i.e. Australia/New Zealand, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, Singapore, Taiwan, Vietnam)

Strategic problem solver with the skills to envision solutions and develop sound strategies, tactical plans and related processes

Track record in issues management

Clear, concise, detailed communicator

Strong project management, planning and organizational skills, delivering multiple priorities simultaneously at scale with speed

Track record of influence, excellent instinct and decision making

Natural collaborator who excels in relationship building, partner management and collaboration

Proven understanding of marketing ecosystem and track record creating successful integrated comms programs

Relevant network of media and industry contacts

Demonstrated leadership ability and strong followership

Background in consumer-packaged goods, family entertainment, gaming or toys preferred
