Job Summary
The Senior Sales Support Associate works closely with large and complex customers and sales reps and delivers value by providing proactive and reactive sales support.
Responsibilities
Pre-Sales Administration and Transactions Coordination

Coordinates all pre-sales activity for large, strategic Channel Partner customers

Solves complex pre-sales issues by engaging internal interlock teams

Ensures SFDC is up to date at Account, Opportunity, and Case level for supported Sales Team

Prepare and manage quotes: Utilize various quoting tools and interfaces to efficiently generate and configure budgetary and formal quotes

Monitor and manage Account aligned case queue

Collaborate on team-driven initiatives: Contribute to larger team projects by defining objectives, tracking progress, and driving results to completion, with a focus on enhancing the effectiveness and impact of the COM role.
Customer Engagement

Participates in face-to-face customer meetings as trusted pre-sales advisor together with Sales
-
Management of delegated opportunities with standard requirements without internal or external negotiations

Understands future customer builds and timing

Handles Customer escalations related to COM responsibilities
Complex Deal Support

Reviews pipeline with Sales rep and identifies deals to work on

Project manages multi-country deals engaging local COMs
-
Coordinates deal requirements with cross-functional deals to structure deal upfront
Data Integrity

Leads data improvement initiatives for country or region (Siebel, SFDC)

Uses management reports to define corrective actions (Billing)

Proactively cleans up data on committed opportunities
Process and Policy adoption and reinforcement

Monitors Sales compliance to policies in pre-sales process

Flags non-compliance to management

Participates in cross-functional workshops to represent COM

Gathers input for Business Requirement documents

Participates in UAT testing
-
Creates and/or delivers process and policy training to Sales Teams as needed
Qualifications

3+ years experience preferred

Bachelor's degree preferred
The United States targeted pay range for this position in the following location is / locations are:
-
San Francisco, CA / Bay Area: $64,000 to $96,000 per year
-
Colorado, Nevada, Rhode Island: $53,000 to $79,000 per year
Our pay ranges reflect the minimum and maximum target for new hire pay for the full-time position determined by role, level, and location. Individual pay is based on additional factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education and/or training.
This position may be offered in other locations. Your recruiter can share more about the specific pay range for your preferred location during the hiring process.
The targeted pay range listed reflects the base pay only and does not include bonus, equity, or benefits. Employees are eligible for bonus, and equity may be offered depending on the position.
