The Commercial Manager formulates the strategy of the sales department within the Tunga Nutrition Kenya strategy framework, and, after approval by the General Manager, implements it through effective design and management of the key areas of the department, in order to ensure a strong, innovative and well positioned and growing sales operation, which meets the (total) sales targets of the company and thereby contribute to the performance of the company.
The Commercial Manager will also be a member of the Management Team, always a people manager, therefore is leading a team of commercial people (including Technical Sales Representatives, Sales representatives and sales admins and also be responsible for realizing the overall sales volume of the company. Besides the focus on reaching commercial targets, the Commercial Manager coaches his/her team to reach their targets and establish (organic) growth.

Job Responsibilities
- Develop and implement commercial strategies to drive sales growth and market expansion.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities in the fish feed industry.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, distributors, and industry stakeholders.
- Conduct market research to understand industry trends, customer needs, and competitor activities.
- Oversee pricing, contract negotiations, and sales agreements.
- Work closely with the production and supply chain teams to ensure timely delivery and quality assurance.
- Manage sales targets and budgets to ensure profitability.
- Lead, motivate, and develop the commercial team to achieve business goals.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Agriculture, Aquaculture, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial sales, preferably in aquaculture, feed, or agribusiness.
- Strong understanding of fish feed products and the aquaculture market.
- Proven track record in sales growth and business development.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and leadership skills.
- Ability to analyze market trends and make data-driven decisions.
- Willingness to travel as needed.
