Job Summary

We are currently looking for a Commercial Analyst (Business Development) to provide support and updated market insights for Global Business Development (GBD) Team to achieve business goals. This role involves conducting regular market research and analysis to identify trends, potential customers, and opportunities for business expansion. The position requires sifting through large datasets to extract useful insights and creating data visualizations. It also includes developing, updating, and maintaining presentations, proposals, dashboards, and other business documents, particularly for projects, RFQs/RFPs, and tenders. Additionally, the role supports the Business Development team with various tasks, with performance measured against the annual operation plan.

What You'll Responsible For:

• Conduct extensive market research and analysis on a regular basis, to identify emerging trends, potential customers and/or opportunities for business expansion.

• Maintain and keep data bases with internal and external information for integration with multiple data sets

• Sift through large datasets collected, turn them into useful information and create data visualizations with the results.

• Develop, update and maintain presentations, proposals and required documents for business projects, RFQ/RFPs and/or tender.

• Develop, update and maintain useful dashboards and visualizing data through charts, diagrams, infographics and other methods.

•  Assist on any other task assigned within the scope of the GBD-Team.

What Experience and Skills Required:

• At least 3-5 years’ experience as a market/business analyst.

• Strong analytical skills and business acumen is a must

• A strong understanding of macro, microeconomics

• A strong understanding of finance and finance concepts

• Experience from financial services/IBD and/or multinational corporations is a plus.

• Bachelor’s / master’s degree in economics / business administration or a related field.

• Advanced skills with data analysis and visualisation tools are a must (e.g. Excel, PowerPoint PowerBI).

• Proficient in other statistical softwares for data presentation and analysis

• Fluent in English & Chinese is a must.

• Ability to work under pressure

• Result oriented, independent, and self-starter.
