Responsibilities:

Performing timely, accurate, and comprehensive financial analysis (i.e. IRR, NPV, etc)

Developing and maintaining project-level economic models

Written document preparation (presentations, memos, investment proposals, etc)

Managing 3rd-party advisor engagements, data collection/analysis, and internal stakeholder coordination (agree)

Monitor key industry trends/fundamentals for key customers/commodities

Working knowledge of the energy/midstream landscape in Western Canada is a plus.

Working with Business Development to prepare business cases (writing and economic modeling)

Working closely with key stakeholders to support the Final Investment Decision process; including (but not limited to) preparing written materials and analysis for Vopak executives and the JV Board of Directors.

Support ad-hoc requests from management and other stakeholders

Support negotiation of long-term/complex commercial agreements

Other duties as required
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree (business/economics or technical/engineering)
- 3-5 years experience in midstream, oil & gas, power or petrochemical industries
- Thorough understanding of economic analysis and finance concepts
- Familiarity with long-term/complex commercial agreements
- Self-starter, ability to think outside the box and work in a dynamic environment
- Ability to clearly and concisely communicate to a wide variety of stakeholders
- Ability to build relationships with customers and colleagues around the world
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple task simultaneously
