Position Purpose
As a Cluster Manager – Operations at Iron Mountain, you will be responsible for leading and managing the operational performance of multiple service lines (DMS, RDS, DPS, and SDS) across a designated region. Your role is critical to ensuring service delivery excellence, resource optimization, cost management, and customer satisfaction. You will also manage facilities, drive compliance with OHSE standards, and support the integration of newly acquired businesses.
Key Responsibilities
Operations & Facility Management

Lead and manage operations across multiple locations to meet performance targets.

Ensure facilities are compliant with Iron Mountain standards and equipped to support business growth.

Support audits and ensure high standards of operational readiness and compliance.
Systems & SOP Compliance
-
Ensure full compliance with SOPs and data integrity within the ReQuest/SKP system.

Monitor and review data and process adherence to ensure accuracy and standardization.
Resource & Headcount Management

Manage and control labor headcount within budget.

Drive resource optimization and productivity improvement initiatives.
Customer Service Excellence
-
Ensure effective customer service operations to promptly address and resolve client issues.

Drive improvement in customer CARE metrics.
People Management & Development

Lead, develop, coach, and motivate a geographically dispersed team.

Manage performance reviews, goal setting, and succession planning.

Recruit and retain high-performing team members.
Cost & Productivity Optimization

Monitor and manage operational costs including AMC and maintenance.

Drive productivity improvements across facilities.

Track and control spend in line with approved budgets.
Continuous Improvement

Identify and implement operational best practices in collaboration with regional heads.

Lead initiatives for continuous improvement in service delivery and operational efficiency.
Risk & Safety Management

Ensure adherence to OHSE policies and maintain a safe and secure work environment.

Conduct safety audits and ensure maintenance of critical equipment.
Business Integration Support

Support the integration of newly acquired businesses including systems and SOP adoption.

Assist in due diligence and assess operational fit for potential acquisitions.

Qualifications & Experience
Education:

Graduate degree required

MBA in Operations preferred
Experience:

10–15 years of experience in operations or warehouse management

Proven leadership in managing large, dispersed teams

Experience managing cost centers and contributing to business planning

Exposure to customer relationship management is desirable
Skills & Competencies

Strong leadership and team-building skills

Excellent problem-solving and decision-making ability

Strong knowledge of operations and facility management

Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
