So, what’s the role all about?
The Systems Architect will be responsible for supporting the sales team in providing technical expertise and designing solutions that meet customer needs plus working with services and IT to provide specification/design details. The successful candidate will collaborate with potential clients to understand their business requirements, provide guidance on technology solutions, and develop proposals that detail the recommended solution.
How will you make an impact?
- Design configurations and solutions according to customer’s technical specifications and unique environment, ensuring appropriate support for the proposed architecture.
- Provide Technical Specifications, Network Diagrams, and educate prospects on product requirements and answers their technical and security questions.
- Provide technical responses to RFI/RFQ/RFP together with the Sales & RFP Teams.
- Drive growth of technical knowledge base documentation
- Work with Product Presales Engineers, Solution Engineers, Deployment Engineers, Project Managers, Product Managers, Technical Account Managers, Account Executives, Solution Consultants, Support Team, IT, and the Services Team.
- Specification delivery, Communications, Product Knowledge.
Have you got what it takes?
- Proven record of success in delivering systems technical design for enterprise customers.
- In-depth knowledge on Enterprise software solutions design such as VMware, Microsoft Windows Server, Microsoft SQL Server, Microsoft Hyper-V, Microsoft Clustering, high availability, and disaster recovery.
- In-depth knowledge and design of industry standard Server hardware platforms such as Intel, HP, Dell, IBM, AWS, Azure, and Google. Responsible for designing server hardware, including choosing the appropriate hardware components, such as CPUs, memory, storage, and network cards.
- In-depth knowledge of Server hardware and technologies including Blades, Clusters, HPC, GPGPU and Co-Processing solutions.
- In-depth knowledge of Storage solutions and technologies including NAS, DAS, & SAN designs. Deep understanding of technologies such as RAID, DDP, Fiber Channel, iSCSI, etc.
- In-depth knowledge of Call Recorders, Audio formats, Text formats, Survey formats, and metadata formats.
- In-depth knowledge of File transfer protocols SFTP, VPNs, SSO_SAML configurations.
- Knowledge of industry standard network and telecommunication products such as Cisco, HP, Avaya, Genesys.
- A deep technical understanding of Cloud providers such as NICE, Verint, Calabrio, Five9, Twilio, Genesys, AWS, Azure, Google, etc.
- 3+ years of strong experience in designing, developing, and delivering solutions for large enterprises at scale and collaborating on design with other teams (8+ years total work experience).
