About the position  

The Cloud Administrator is responsible for managing and maintaining cloud infrastructure, ensuring performance, availability, and security. This role involves overseeing daily cloud operations, managing access controls, and implementing solutions to improve efficiency and compliance within the cloud environment.

The position is based in the Barcelona office and applicants must hold a valid right to Work in Spain. 

Responsibilities  

  • Build and deploy cloud environments for clients and internal testing
  • Maintain and improve existing cloud-hosted environments including server upgrades and patching
  • Optimize systems performance, troubleshoot system problems, and analyze issues of technical nature
  • Document current systems and draft and maintain policies, guidelines, and standard operating procedures
  • Monitor infrastructure to maintain and ensure system uptime and availability
  • Collaboration in internal project execution
  • Leverage your knowledge of Azure and PowerShell to automate common tasks
  • L3 assistance in systems related support tickets
  • Support to the IT department
  • On-site interventions at the client's premises

Skills and Qualifications  

  • Experience managing Azure cloud environments
  • Hands-on experience with Azure resource management, networking, and security
  • Experience with Windows Server OS, IIS and SQL Server
  • Foundational knowledge of networking and firewall configurations, supporting basic setup and operations
  • Experience with Zabbix or similar monitoring tools
  • Basic scripting skills using PowerShell
  • Understanding of network topologies and firewalls
  • Familiarity with automation tools like Terraform or Ansible
  • Good-to-haves:
    • Experience with Linux administration
    • Familiarity with version control tools (Git)
    • Familiarity with Jenkins pipelines
    • Familiarity with Docker containers
    • Azure certification is a plus
Compensation  

Salary will be commensurate with experience.
