Where and how you can work
Ravenswood is home to our headquarters in Chicago, Illinois, but we are thrilled to expand to the Bay Area with the opening of an extension of our headquarters in San Francisco! As a flexible-first organization, this role requires the Client Success Director to be onsite at the office or meeting with clients two-three days a week.
What you'd be doing in this role
As a Client Success Director, you'll manage a portfolio of existing customers, making sure they get the most out of our platform and see a strong return on investment. You'll also encourage them to advocate for us, both by expanding their accounts and through referrals. In this role, you'll be the main point of contact for your assigned clients, ensuring you understand their needs, stay in regular communication, and involve the right internal experts when necessary.
Your success will be measured by high customer retention, account growth, and positive feedback, such as testimonials and referrals. Building long-term relationships will be key to thriving in this role at Nextpoint.
The impact you'll make

  • Expand Revenue from Current Accounts: You'll be key in growing revenue by helping current users get the most out of our services, discovering new users, and leveraging our professional offerings to expand accounts.
  • Communicate Nextpoint's Value: You'll effectively share what makes Nextpoint stand out and how our solutions can solve real client challenges.
  • Lead Product Demonstrations & Proposals: From demoing our products to crafting tailored proposals and agreements, you'll ensure clients understand the full potential of what we offer.
  • Stay Engaged with Clients: Keeping up with regular client interactions, you'll maintain high activity levels to strengthen relationships and ensure they continue to see value in our services.
  • Drive Process Innovation: You'll actively seek out opportunities to improve our account management processes, helping create new efficiencies and making things run smoother.
  • Manage Renewals: Ensuring smooth renewals for annual subscriptions in your assigned territory will help keep revenue stable and growing.
  • Hit Revenue Targets: You'll play a crucial role in achieving quarterly revenue goals, directly impacting the company's financial success.
  • Travel as Needed: Whether it's for office events or meeting clients face-to-face, your ability to travel will help you build stronger connections and provide personalized service.


Your expertise

  • You have a solid background in Business, Marketing, Communications, or something similar-or you've achieved the experience to back it up.
  • With 5+ years in sales, account management, or a customer-facing role, you know what it takes to succeed.
  • You're not just excited about SaaS-you're passionate about making a real difference in the industry.
  • You're the type of person who's resourceful, goal-oriented, and focused on getting results.
  • You have a solid track record of closing deals and consistently surpassing sales targets.
  • Communication's your thing-you're great with people, whether it's over email, on the phone, or face-to-face.
  • You've worked in solution selling, especially with software and services (or a combination of both)
  • You know how to connect the dots between what clients need and what the company offers.
  • You're willing and able to travel when necessary.
