Job Description:
Join Pitney Bowes as a Client Relationship Manager onsite in Aurora, Illinois. You will play a pivotal role in driving growth and ensuring continued success. As a valued team member, you will manage client relationships, ensuring our customers achieve optimal results in their mailing campaigns while adhering to United States Postal Service (USPS) regulations.
The base salary range for this position is $60,000 to $70,000 with the actual pay dependent on your skills and experience as they relate to the job requirements and the location where you will be performing the job.

As a Client Relationship Manager, you will:
- Cultivate and manage relationships with small to medium-sized clients to encourage repeat business and new opportunities.
- Lead the proposal process, including budgeting, pricing, proposal writing, and contract negotiations.
- Actively address and prevent client issues to enhance retention and satisfaction.
- Communicate updates and recommendations to senior management and clients to ensure alignment and client retention.
- Deliver in-depth analysis and presentations to senior-level management.
- Engage regularly with client representatives in person to strengthen relationships and foster loyalty.
- Monitor reporting metrics to ensure service levels, volumes, pricing, and quality align with expectations.
- Collaborate with USPS and internal departments to recommend improvements in mail quality (e.g., design, readability, and Critical Entry Time).
- Gain a thorough understanding of assigned clients' products and business strategies to identify additional revenue opportunities.
- Develop and present proposals to decision-makers that enhance revenue and profitability.
- Renew and negotiate contracts based on Pitney Bowes’ rate card guidelines while securing formal agreements.
- Advocate for regulatory changes with clients and assist with implementation strategies.
- Represent Pitney Bowes Presort Services at industry events and trade shows.
- Achieve and maintain MDP (Mail Design Professional) certification within the first year of employment.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Your Background as a Client Relationship Manager, you have:
- Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience.
- Proven ability to establish and nurture long-term client relationships.
- Persuasive communication and negotiation skills with adaptability to diverse situations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with advanced PowerPoint capabilities.
- Strong decision-making skills with the ability to prioritize multiple assignments.
- Exceptional organization, attention to detail, and ability to work amidst frequent interruptions.
- Excellent verbal, written, listening, and interpersonal communication skills.

For completing this work, Presort Services receives discounted postage rates. By performing this sorting work on behalf of our clients, we are able to share a portion of that discount with them.
