The Role
The Client Onboarding & Activation Analyst plays a critical role in ensuring a smooth and compliant onboarding experience for business clients. This role involves reviewing and verifying business client information and documentation, validating business ownership structures and making informed decisions on onboarding requests. The analyst works closely with internal teams and stakeholders to address discrepancies, maintain quality control, and continuously enhance onboarding procedures.
Responsibilities
· Review customer information and documentation during the onboarding process, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements;
· Extract and validate business information from official registers, including business registries, trade associations, and government databases;
· Verify corporate documents;
· Identify and validate Ultimate Beneficial Owners (UBOs) and key stakeholders, ensuring compliance with KYB and AML regulations;
· Assess business ownership structures, identifying complex hierarchies and verifying entities involved;
· Communicate with clients to clarify or request additional information for incomplete submissions;
· Collaborate with compliance and risk teams to escalate and resolve high-risk cases, ensuring decisions are well-documented and aligned with regulatory standards;
· Contribute to the optimization of KYB verification processes by leveraging digital tools, automation systems, and best practices;
· Actively participate in training and development opportunities to enhance knowledge and skills.
To be considered you should have:
· At least 2 years’ experience in a KYB, KYC, compliance, or related role;
· Bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, law, or a related field (preferred);
· Familiarity with digital onboarding tools and automation software;
· Excellent communication and teamwork skills;
· Effective time management, attention to detail, and strong analytical skills;
· Proficiency in Greek and English (oral and written); additional languages are a plus.
